Counseling

HOW MUCH ARE YOUR SERVICES FOR THERAPY?
Please email me or call me directly regarding rates. Longer sessions are available and charged on a pro rated basis.
In compliance with Title 45, section 149.610 Code of Federal Regulations, I will provide a "Good Faith Estimate" of anticipated therapy costs to private pay clients at the start of treatment.
WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
I accept cash and credit card.  Credit cards are stored in my electronic health record and billed after session.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule your session. I have a 24-hour late cancellation policy. That means that if you do not attend your scheduled therapy session, and have not notified me within 24 hours of the appointment, you will be charged the full cost of the session.
Prior to your first appointment, a credit card will be required to reserve your session which will be uploaded in my secure electronic health record. This card will be charged for missed appointments or late cancellations.
WILL INSURANCE COVER OUR SESSION?
I do not bill insurance directly, however, if you have a PPO insurance plan, you can likely see me as an out-of-network provider. I am happy to provide you with an insurance-ready receipt so that you can request reimbursement for your services. If this is of interest to you, please contact your insurance provider to determine the specifics of your coverage. You may also want to use a flex spending account (associated with your primary insurance) or a health savings account (HSA) to cover your psychotherapy fees.

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits and telemental health (online therapy)?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Clinical Supervision

HOW MUCH ARE YOUR CLINICAL SUPERVISION SERVICES?
Please email me or call me directly regarding rates.  I have a range of fees depending on the type of supervision (individual, triadic or group).
WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
I accept cash and credit card.  Credit cards are stored in my electronic health record and billed after each session.
HOW MANY HOURS PER WEEK DO I NEED FOR SUPERVISION?
If you are an associate, you must have one unit of supervision for up to 10 hours of face-to-face client contact per week. If you are claiming 11+ hours or more of direct client service, then you are required to have two units of supervision during the same week.
If you are a trainee, you must have one unit of supervision for up to 5 hours of face-to-face client contact per week. If you are claiming 6+ hours or more of direct client service, then you are required to have two units of supervision during the same week.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS A WEEK OF SUPERVISION?
In the case of missed sessions due to unavoidable scheduling issues, I will do my best to reschedule the same week, if time permits in my schedule, so you do not have to lose those hours.
DO I NEED MALPRACTICE INSURANCE?
If you are working for an agency that provides malpractice insurance for you, then you are considered covered under their policy. If you are not covered, I will require you to obtain malpractice insurance from a reputable agency which we can discuss further.
WHERE DO YOU PROVIDE CLINICAL SUPERVISION?
I am able to provide clinical supervision at my private practice office or through HIPPA compliant videoconferencing platform (Zoom) if your workplace meets BBS criteria. An associate working for a governmental entity; school, college, or university; or an institution that is both nonprofit and charitable may obtain supervision via live two-way videoconferencing. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the client confidentiality is preserved. Trainees are not permitted to receive supervision via videoconferencing unless permitted due to Covid 19 regulations per the BBS.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule your supervision. I have a 24-hour late cancellation policy. That means that if you do not attend your scheduled supervision, and have not notified me within 24 hours of the appointment, you will be charged the full cost of the supervision.
Prior to your first supervision, a credit card will be required to reserve your weekly or biweekly appointments which will be uploaded in my secure electronic health record. This card will be charged for missed appointments or late cancellations.
